Noble Savages (via NYTimes)

March 10, 2010

The New York Times Magazine featured a stylized tea party that 1) we loved 2) reminded us of our male friends from Brown University who lived with the windows open in the coldest days of winter. They turned off the heat and covered up in wool, and were more dreamy for it. They were men who drank their tea from mason jars and who rocked a lumber-jack infused style long before it was highlighted in a NYT photoshoot. Their hands knew how to lay stone and carry real weight. They were true Noble Savages. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the assistants of this beautiful shoot spent some of his/her undergrad career with the boys of Barnes/Power St./Wickendon, because we’ve seen these rustic gazes and delicious treats before…this time, however, there is knitting, and for that, we’re featuring it here.
